Scores of Vcam-1 staining showed a significant less Vcam-1 expression in IL12 KO mice. The supplement of recombinant IL12 (rIL12) to IL12 KO mice significantly increased the expression of Vcam-1. The Vcam-1 expression score in rIL12-treated mice was 1.17, while the score in IL-12 KO mice without rIL-12 treatment was 0.17 (p < 0.05). These results indicate that IL-12 increased the expression of Vcam-1."
