Lysates were immunoblotted with anti-phosphotyrosine and anti-EGFR antibodies. In the presence of LRIG1, EGFR responded less efficiently to EGF as determined by blotting autophosphorylated receptors with anti-phosphotyrosine. Interestingly, LRIG1 expression also resulted in an accelerated loss of EGFR." ;
